Water is in everything. It’s in us, the materials we use on a daily basis: paper, plastic, metal, cars, the smelly pair of shoes under your bed, and yes, even your phone. When you walk on a road or bridge, you’re technically walking on water.

 

Whether you’re fan of heady local brews or the lighter stuff in a can, all beers have one thing in common: they’re 90% water. Think about the last beer you drank. Could you imagine drinking it with unclean water? Unsanitary. Or no water at all? Talk about dry mouth.

 

Billions of people worldwide do not have access to reliable water. To highlight the importance of clean water, the Georgia Section of the American Water Works Association (GAWWA) is hosting the eighth annual No Water No Beer Festival.
